After completing her general university entrance qualification, Manuela Scheinost trained as an industrial clerk at Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH (formerly Wilden). Since 2005, she has held various positions at Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH and has qualified as a business economist (IHK) while working.

Manuela Scheinost is currently employed in quality management. She is a subject matter expert for process and document control and works as an internal QM auditor for the ISO 13485 and ISO 15378 standards at the Gerresheimer Medical Systems and Gerresheimer Syringe Systems sites.

She has been a member of the works council since 2018. In July 2025, Manuela Scheinost was elected chairwoman of the works council of Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH, which includes the sites in Pfreimd, Wackersdorf, Münster and Regensburg.

In 2022, she joined the Group Works Council of Gerresheimer AG, where she is a member of the IT Committee. In June 2025, she was elected Deputy Chairwoman of the Group Works Council.
