Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Production Shift Supervisor is capable of operating a group of vial machines forming necks, bottoms and finishes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job effectively an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner - with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Performs visual and dimensional checks to ensure quality ware is produced
· Cleans plugs, dies, tooling bars, machines and equipment per the standard operating procedures and as required by preventative maintenance tasks
· Monitors line performance by checking hot end losses on lehr belt, determine source of loss and notify appropriate personnel
· Able to make Lead Machine Operator adjustments as qualified
· Monitor process control using Infinity to produce acceptable Cp/Cpk values and cold end cosmetic vision reject percentage
· Ensure tube loader remains properly loaded
· Informs QC Inspector, Selector Packer and Production Shift Supervisor if out of specification vials are detected
· Maintains all required documentation as required
· Supports QMS and GMS initiatives
· Demonstrates behavior that meets Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education, experience, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
REQUIREMENTS/COMETENCIES:
· Ability to learn, understand, and apply the Gerresheimer Management System (GMS)
· Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English
· Basic computer skills
