Job Description

  • Independent conceptual design of construction projects / design planning and evaluation of requirements
  • Independent development of technical specifications and their derivation in requirement or functional specifications
  • Independent management of global, also concurrent construction projects with representation of the client 
  • Assumption of site management and coordination of the individual construction and infrastructure trades as well as the respective suppliers
  • Independent preparation, implementation and monitoring of outline and detailed plans for construction projects 
  • Largely independent preparation of cost estimates
  • Independent review of work plans and offers during project implementation
  • Largely independent cost controlling for the construction budget for which you are responsible in coordination with Purchasing and Controlling
  • Largely independent preparation of award decisions in cooperation with the Purchasing Department, observing all requirements (compliance)
  • Largely independent preparation and further development of technical standards

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in construction management of building trades, preferably in a manufacturing company / industrial environment
  • Very good knowledge in the areas of plant planning and facility management
  • Experience in the preparation of specifications and tenders
  • Extensive knowledge in the evaluation and specification of technical operating facilities
  • In-depth knowledge of construction drawing and experience in the use of Auto-CAD
  • Good knowledge and experience in project management 
  • Confident use of common IT systems (e.g. MS-Office, mainly Excel + PowerPoint)
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English 
  • Good knowledge in validation of cleanrooms and their infrastructure
