Job Description

Repair and maintenance of injection molds according to internal specifications to ensure injection molding production.

  • Independently perform tool repair based on tool complaints according to specifications.
  • Disassembly and assembly of injection molds
  • Perform required skilled work at workbench (e.g., spotting, measuring, etc.).
  • Entry of dimensional changes in drawings
  • Check tools or components for wear, replace defective and worn parts, rework tools and molds if necessary.
  • test repaired tools and molds according to specifications.
  • Maintenance of the MES system after repair or maintenance.
  • Inspect tools according to maintenance schedules, diagnose malfunctions if necessary, replace wear parts and operating materials

Qualifications

Knowledge as acquired during a 3-year technical vocational training (e.g. tool mechanic) and extended by 2 years of work experience in the field of repair of injection molds
