Process Engineer Injection Molding

Job Description

  • Independent implementation of the standardized tool qualification including complete sampling documentation to ensure a smooth production, taking into account the required component quality
  • Independent application of systematic tool sampling (GR process development) internally as well as with external suppliers / customers
  • Independent execution of functional samplings
  • Systematic determination of all relevant process parameters as well as problem solving and optimisation of all injection molding tasks
  • Independent creation and execution of experimental designs 
  • Independent implementation of qualification runs
  • Independent preparation of documentation in accordance with valid specifications (e.g. SOPs and Work Instructions)
  • Close coordination and provision of process engineering expertise in cross-divisional and cross-site teams and meetings (e.g. Quality, Production, Mold Engineering)

Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of injection molding production and special knowledge in the fields of plastics process mechanics as well as tool testing and process finding / test execution 
  • Very good knowledge of the operation of injection molding machines and their peripherals
  • Good knowledge of the processing properties of plastics
  • Good knowledge of the use of cavity pressure systems
  • Good IT user skills (MES, SAP, MS-Office)
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Performance and creative motivation

  • High sociability and team orientation
  • Emotional stability, resilience and self-confidence
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of analytical competence
  • Ability to transfer acquired expertise to new situations
