Job Description

  • The Supervisor of Small Batch Production (SBP) primarily assists the Head of Small Batch Production (SBP) in the technical management of production by ensuring proper day to day operations of their assigned shift.  The Supervisor of SBP focuses on supporting the Head of SBP in the day to day functionality of their shift and training of their team members.  They also serve as a leadership resource for their team members.
  • Train team members on safe work practices and promote safe work habits.
  • Assist in assembling of products and parts according to trained to work instructions.
  • Adhere to and enforce quality and quantity requirements.
  • Adhere to and enforce proper production procedures and processes.
  • Prepare and maintain materials for production.
  • Perform visual inspection of parts.
  • Correctly complete production documentation.
  • Monitor open orders and request batch documentation
  • Assist in the packaging of finished products.
  • Cooperate with and lead team members.
  • Inform manager and quality department of product or part discrepancies and differences.
  • Lead team members by example
  • Work with different departments to ensure the correct process flow.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Comply with all hygiene procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean work area per 5S standards.
  • Perform necessary functions in SAP and Guardus systems.
  • Manage direct reports performance and attendance in Paycom.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge as taught in the course of 3-year industrial/technical training and deepened through targeted advanced training of specialized knowledge. The work assignment requires at least three years of experience in a comparable function with planning/coordination tasks.
