Job Description

Highly independent systematic problem solving and optimization of all injection molding tasks (man, machine, method, environment, material) including the sustainable implementation of corrective measures in case of repeat errors to ensure trouble-free production operation. 

• Independent optimization of injection molding processes using methods (GMS) and implementation in production  

• Independent improvement of work processes and organization  

• Planning and implementation of workshops  

• Independent qualification of new tools, SGM incl. handling and peripherals  

• Independent documentation of all changes  

• Implementation of the sampling of new start-ups after change  

• Root cause analyses / corrections for repeat errors, complaints, etc.  

• Processing of suggestions for improvement  

• Independent cooperation with internal departments (e.g. tool service, quality, TCC/SEC, assembly areas, production coordination)  

• Participation in FMEAs  

• Contribute to SGM specifications, tools and peripherals 

• Independent supervision of transfer projects, if necessary with assumption of sub-project responsibility  

• Technical contact person for internal interfaces (e.g. plant and production management, customer facing organization, etc.) 

Qualifications

Knowledge as it was imparted within the framework of a 3-year technical training, e.g. as a process mechanic for KKT, expanded by a relevant further training as a technician or master craftsman and deepened by targeted specialist training. This function requires specialist knowledge in the field of plastics process mechanics and at least five years of experience in a comparable function 

• Extensive experience in the field of injection molding production with successful application of specialist knowledge in the field of process analysis  

• Very good knowledge of process engineering  

• IT-Knowledge (MES, SAP, MS-Office)  

• Excellent technical understanding 

• Independent, team-oriented, proactive way of working  

• Precise work, even under pressure  

• Absolute reliability  

• Good communication skills, also in the environment of interdisciplinary teams and organizations 

• Good knowledge of quality methods
