Labratory Engineer

Job Description

  • Work hands-on at the front of Medical Devices developing innovative micromechanical dispensing systems such as wearable and programmable micropumps.
  • Plan, execute and perform tests and experiments for characterization and design verification of micromechanical dispensing systems
  • Evaluate and report tests and results with fidelity towards project teams, notified bodies, and patients.
  • Development and qualification of test setups and methods
  • Work in interdisciplinary project teams in the field of Medical Device Development
  • Comply with quality standards to develop safe and high quality micropumps for patients worldwide
  • Help to optimize processes and maintain laboratory and laboratory equipment in pristine condition

Qualifications

  • A degree in the field of mechatronic/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a degree in biotechnology or chemistry/chemical engineering. Other educations with proven focus on technology and hands-on laboratory record are considered too.
  • First experiences in measurement and test engineering, micromechanics, pneumatics, microfluidics, actuators and sensors
  • Experience with programming of LabView and Teststand or similar is an advantage
  • Organizational talent and hands-on mentality
  • Good language skills in English (written and spoken).
