Team Lead - Tool Service and Maintenance

Job Description

As the Team Lead for Tool Service and Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our tool service and maintenance team. Your role will involve ensuring that all tools and equipment are well-maintained, functional, and readily available for production. You will lead a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to support seamless workflow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of tool service technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to drive individual and collective success.
  • Managing of the maintenance plan of injection tool, ensuring tools are maintained in due time and available for use according to expected performance.
  • Technical coordination of the corrective actions of injection tools and spare parts, both internally and 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical and quality issues of injection molds
  • Assuring compliance to GMP requirements regarding tool service and maintenance process
  • Following and enforcing safety protocols for handling and servicing tools, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members
  • Managing the stock of spare parts assuring the availability of the molds to meet the production plan

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tool service and maintenance, preferable to have injection molding plastic experience or fine and or complex mechanics
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of tool maintenance and safety practices
  • Flexibility and resilience
  • Macedonian fluent (required), English fluent (desirable)
  • IT skills in e.g. MES, SAP, MSOffice
