PLC Programmer Service Technician

Job Description

In this role, you are responsible for independent programming and processing of service orders for our systems internally and in the international plants.

  • Remote maintenance & diagnostics for Gerresheimer systems
  • Control technology optimization and further development of machines and systems
  • On-site assignments to implement service projects
  • Close cooperation with specialist departments and external partners regarding analyses and finding solutions for service projects
  • Training and production support for our production plants
  • Creation of work and assembly reports including fault history and troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Technician, master or bachelor / engineer (m/f/d) in the field of mechatronics / automation technology / electrical engineering or comparable knowledge
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens TIA, Siemens S7)
  • Experience with PLC-controlled assembly systems
  • Knowledge of robot programming (e.g. Epson, Stäubli)
  • Structured way of working, confident demeanor and strong team and communication skills
  • Strong willingness to travel as part of service assignments at our German and international locations
  • Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is advantage
