Supervisor Order Management

Job Description

The aim of the position is to ensure the planning and management of supply chain processes and the efficient processing of orders.

  • Personnel management with all the individual tasks involved (initiating disciplinary measures, assessing employees, staff appraisals, personnel development, etc.)
  • Lead and develop the team to maximize their capabilities and productivity.
  • Responsible for planning and optimization of the supply chain to ensure demand is met efficiently.
  • Coordinate and oversee all order fulfillment to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Working closely with the sales team to reconcile sales forecasts and order intake.
  • Ensure fulfillment of customer orders through effective communication with production, warehouse and logistics departments.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to evaluate performance of supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement measures to improve the supply chain and reduce lead times.
  • Responsibility for inventory management, including minimizing excess inventory and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of materials.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new systems and tools to improve supply chain processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Engage in projects to reduce costs and increase efficiency within the supply chain.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies within the supply chain.
  • Conflict resolution management for order issues, delivery delays and other challenges.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in development projects to optimize SCM strategies.
  • Leading regular supply chain status meetings and discussing strategic issues with stakeholders.
  • Developing risk management strategies to manage uncertainties and bottlenecks in the supply chain.
  • Establishing transparent communication with all departments involved in order to improve the flow of information.
  • Budget planning and control to ensure cost-efficient operation of the supply chain.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations for management to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Knowledge acquired during a 3-year industrial/technical apprenticeship and expanded through further training as a technician or master craftsman and deepened through targeted, relevant specialist training.

The job requires at least five years of experience in a comparable function with personnel responsibility.
